Charbonneau Activity Center

The Charbonneau Activity Center is a project aimed at improving recreational facilities for the residents of the Charbonneau community. One of the primary goals of the landscape design was to ensure accessibility and ease of movement for pedestrians throughout the entire site. To achieve this, the landscape design prioritized the creation of well-planned and accessible routes that seamlessly connect different areas within the activity center. These pedestrian pathways have been thoughtfully integrated into the overall design, providing safe and convenient access for individuals of all abilities.

In addition to the functional aspects of the landscape, careful attention is given to enhancing the aesthetic appeal and comfort of the outdoor spaces. The project includes the installation of high-quality site furnishings strategically placed throughout the site, offering resting areas, seating options, and gathering spaces for residents to relax and enjoy their surroundings. These furnishings were selected to complement the overall design theme, ensuring a cohesive and visually pleasing environment.

To elevate the overall ambiance of the activity center, a modern planting design was employed. This design approach utilized a combination of native and adaptive plant species that thrive in the local climate and require minimal maintenance. The careful selection of plant materials will contribute to the ecological balance of the site, while also adding beauty, color, and texture to the landscape.
